We rely on parishioners to notify us if there are patients to be visited. Please keep the Rectory informed. Due to the new confidentiality guidelines for Leominster hospital, the hospital will no longer be able to notify us when parishioners are in the hospital. Unless you specifically ask the chaplain to contact us, we will not know of your admission. Therefore, we ask that you please call us if you would like a visit while in the hospital. Alfred Loro thanks everyone who contributed to the special Mission Collection recently for the Catholic Church in South Sudan. The amount received was $2,642 and these funds will go a long way in helping the desperate people of that area where 2.5 million who have already died in war.   CATHOLIC SCHOOLS The annual appeal for Catholic Schools will take place on the weekend of September 29th - 30th. All funds received in the collection remain in our parish to benefit St. Leo's School. It is part of the mission of the entire church to support our Catholic schools and we at St. Leo's have done so most willingly and generously. This is in stark contrast to the arguments made before California voters approved Proposition 71 that allocated three billion dollars to embryonic stem cell research. Parishioners are asked to volunteer to spend an hour or a half-hour in Church because the exposed Blessed Sacrament should never be unattended.
